A postpartum doula is a professional support person trained in the needs of the family & the home in the days, weeks, & months after birth or after the addition of a new baby. Additional supports may include:
Breastfeeding support
Emotional support & encouragement
Help with newborn care
Preparing bottles & baby supplies
Light housework
Help with sibling education & transition
